MANILA, Philippines — The construction arm of the Aboitiz group has finished the construction of a new berth of DICT Bulk Terminal Inc. (DBTI) in Davao del Norte, boosting its bulk cargo handling capacity.

The berth expansion, measuring 200 meters long and 18.5 meters wide, can accommodate vessels with a deadweight tonnage of up to 60,000.
With the completion of the project, the terminal now operates 930 meters of berth length—further positioning Mindanao as a “premier agro-industrial gateway,” the company said. /dda
